There used to be 3 of us basenji's. Dannii is with us in spirit, so technically we are still 3. You just can't see Dannii; but Jenna and I can. He's still with us.
I have my own way of doing things, and Jenna will now have to tow the mark! If that doesn't work, then what you get is what you get...Basenji Troublemakers!!!

4-24-11, and Oh My God
Hopefully this link will work. Its Dannii and Jenna running through the mud at Point Isabel. Nothing more needs to be said.
Hahahahahaha! OMG is what I said, too, over & over while watching the video! We've had so much rain here (Fairfield, Ohio; Greater Cincinnati area) that I think I'd better hurry up with the ark, but at least Jello & Leeny avoid the worst of the mud when we're out for walks. I don't envy your cleanup duties.
FYI; the link didn't work (I think maybe there needs to be a space at the front, before http) but I copied & pasted it into my browser (Opera) & it worked just fine.
Basenjis. Both are BRATs, Jello 11 yr old trindle male, Leeny 14 yr old r/w female; their supervisor is Echo the wonder cat, 9 yr old calico female. I operate under the delusion that I'm the pack leader.
That's very cool. My very first basenji was from BRAT, our of Texas. Dannii and Jenna were returned to breeder, for whatever reasons, and Zak was bought from a backyard breeder. I knew the family and told them to call if something went wrong or they couldn't keep him. A month later the dad called and said "Get this dog out of here, NOW"! Zak was only 4 months old....turned out to be a chewer! Thought I would kill him before he reached his 1st bd, now he's almost 7.
Dear Dannii and Jenna, I am jealous because you guys had sooooo much fun running in the mud! Mom does not like for us to run in the mud, but sometimes my brothers do it in our back yard. Also it's nice that you have a whole ocean to make mud for you. We only have rain-made mud here.
Oh, and Mom says the way you get a link into the blog is that you click on that little icon thingy at the top of the window that says "link." It's right next to the icon for adding a photo. Then you can paste the link in there, and it should work for people to just click on instead of having to copy and paste it.
Dannii and Jenna love the mud, but I don't. Don't see the point of getting THAT dirty! Mom has never caught me near the mud or water.
Thank your mom for us. I never added a link before, and I know mom hasn't either. She thought that what she did, would work, but yeah, you have to copy and paste.

Thank you Vicky. Yes, I should have mentioned that you had to copy and paste. First time I tried a video here.
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of dogs are Jello and Leeny?
