2-22-12

What a beautiful day!  Hard to believe we are in the latter half of February.  Suppose to get up into the low 70's here.  Decided to take the b's to our favorite dog park.  A friend has so graciously offered to do a "photo shoot" of the b's and I.  I just hope I don't break her camera.  (If, I did M.C., I'm sorry).  I take terrible pictures, just don't know how to smile I guess.  Its going to be awhile before I get those pictures from her, so in the meantime, I took a few.

Zak and Jenna checking something out

From this picture, it looks like there is no one at the park.  Don't let the picture fool you.  There were alot of people and dogs there, today.  Amazing since it is a Wednesday.  Don't these people work?  I have an excuse, it was my day off!

Zak, who very seldom's stand still for pictures.

Beautiful San Francisco

Caught ya M.C!  Now, why can't I look that pretty in a photo?  Can't remember what the dog's name is that she's petting.

my handsome boy, Dannii

The dog's do believe this is their picnic table
Zak is off on the far left, Dannii, and Jenna, finally got her ear's up!
He looks so good, hard to believe he has cancer

Two tired puppies!  Hardly ever see Dannii and Zak in the same chair

Dannii did not eat very much at breakfast, so he was hungry when we got home.  But whatever I put down for him, he didn't want it.  Go figure.  I opened up a can of sardines in olive oil, and poured that into his bowl.  He a "some" of it, but not much, and walked away.  So I picked up the bowl and covered it.  Figuring he can have the rest at dinner.  Around 5pm I mixed in a half cup of Innova Evo Reduced (Zak is a whooping 33 pounds, so he's on a diet!), to the sardine, and surprisingly Dannii ate it all!.  Such a good boy!

Don't know how long the good LORD is going to let Dannii stay with me.  I do pray it will be for quite some time yet.  Would truly love to see Dannii reach his 13th birthday in December, but ............
We are taking it one day at a time.  Everyday that he is here with me, and that he is eating, and wanting to go outside and check things out, those a good days indeed.

M.C. I truly thank you from the bottom of my heart for today.  Like I said, I hope I didn't break your camera!  I am glad that it was a warm and beautiful day at the park.  I missed that you didn't bring the Bow's with you, but I understand.  Hopefuly this will not be the last time you get to see Dannii doing this well.

On one of the other lists that I am on, a gal gave me a dinner suggestion, which I am going to try out, as Dannii is now getting tired of the chicken thighs.  I have to keep changing things up for him, just to get him to eat.

Well, that's all for today.  You all come back again, now hear?

  1. I'm just catching up on your blog. Enjoyed the pictures -- it's good to see Dannii hanging in there so well. Give him a hug for me.

    1. Been slacking but am trying to keep it on a even keel. Days go by and nothing truly changes. Thank you, I'm hoping he continues to do well for some time to come. Hugs are always welcomed.

  2. If I remember correctly, the pup that I'm petting is named was Donya.
So strange to see pictures of myself in "action," since I'm always on the other side of the camera!
